The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration has promoted Allison Taylor to Medicaid director. She has served as interim director since May. Prior, Taylor served as FSSA’s general counsel since joining the agency in 2015. She advised health care clients on regulatory compliance, reimbursement and enrollment matters at Indianapolis law firm Hall, Render, Killian, Heath & Lyman. Earlier in her career, Taylor served as policy and legislative director for the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians.

She graduated from DePauw University and the Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Taylor is a graduate of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service series and serves on the board of the Indianapolis Bar Association’s health and life sciences committee.

She was recently chosen to participate in the prestigious Medicaid Leadership Institute, a national initiative directed by the Center for Health Care Strategies.
