Franklin College has named Dana Cummings vice president for development and alumni engagement. She has more than 11 years of development experience in higher education. Cummings most recently served as associate vice president for development at DePauw University. She has previously worked for a variety of Indiana University divisions in frontline development roles, including the schools of optometry and education, and for the Indiana University Foundation.

Cummings earned a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University, a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University and holds her Certified Fund Raising Executive designation from the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
