The Franklin College Board of Trustees has elected: Douglas Brown (pictured), Amy Belisle and Randy Stocklin (pictured) as trustees.
Brown is a senior partner at Bose, McKinney & Evans and serves as managing principal of its government relations and strategic communications subsidiary, Bose Public Affairs Group. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from Vanderbilt University and a jurisprudence doctorate from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
Belisle, a 1998 alumna of the college, works as a product quality stability specialist for Amgen Inc., a corporation that transforms science and biotechnology into therapies that can restore health or save lives. She holds a Franklin College bachelor of arts degree in biology, a Providence College bachelor of science degree in leadership studies and a Gonzaga University master of arts degree in organizational leadership. In addition to serving as a past president of the Franklin College Alumni Council, her involvement at Franklin College has included serving on student-focused career panels and networking events and facilitating scientific equipment donations from her employer. Belisle is an active volunteer at Big Brothers, Big Sisters, The Haitian Project and St. Bernard’s Church.
Stocklin, a 2000 alumnus of the college, is co-founder and CEO of One Click, which is the parent company of direct-to-consumer eyewear brands Readers.com, Sunglass Warehouse and felix + iris. One Click has been recognized with a number of national and local awards for its outstanding culture and as one of the fastest growing ecommerce businesses in the Midwest. Stocklin holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Franklin College. Since his graduation, he has remained active in the Franklin College community as an Alumni Council member and frequent volunteer in mock interviews, career panels and networking events geared toward students.
The Franklin College Board of Trustees consists of up to 40 elected voting members, each serving a three-year term. There is no limit to the number of terms served. Three members are elected by the board upon recommendation by the Alumni Council.
