The Franklin College Board of Trustees recently elected two members to the board: John Dickerson and Todd Bemis. Dickerson is a 1975 graduate of the college and Bemis is a 1984 graduate. Dickerson is the director of the Indianapolis Facilities Center for the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, where he has worked since 1987. Dickerson holds a bachelor’s degree in English and journalism from Franklin College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Indianapolis. Bemis is the owner and president of the Johnson County-based Bemis Group, specializing in development, construction and design. Bemis holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Franklin College.
