Franklin College Adds to Board

The Franklin College Board of Trustees has added two new members. They include executives with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Indianapolis Facilities Center and the Johnson County-based Bemis Group.
John Dickerson leads the Indianapolis Facilities Center for the department’s U.S. Customs and Border Protection. In his role, he oversees 300 employees working to secure all United States borders and border facilities. He is a 1975 graduate of Franklin College.
Todd Bemis is the owner and president of development, construction and design company Bemis Group, which has been a part of several major projects at Franklin College. The company was involved in efforts including the Richardson Chapel remodel, a new press box at Behrens Field and the construction of the Grizzly Park pavilion. Bemis is a 1984 Franklin College graduate.
The Franklin College Board of Trustees is made up of 40 elected voting members, each serving a three-year term.
