Frankfort Mayor Chris McBarnes has released the next 200-day plan for the city. It outlines some of the areas the mayor and department heads will work on, including cleaning up properties blighted by natural disasters, hiring a new street superintendent and creating a citizens police academy. Other points of emphasis in the plan include a “a blitz on all blighted properties.”

It also includes a focus on job retention and attraction, studying potential annexation, quality-of-life initiatives and infrastructure improvements.
