The American Association of Physicists in Medicine has elected Franciscan Health chief medical physicist Christopher Njeh to lead the Ohio River chapter. He has served the organization since 2015 and has held similar positions and academic appointments in California, Baltimore and Texas since 1997.  Njeh received his undergraduate degree in physics from Birmingham University in England and his graduate degree in medical physics from Aberdeen University in Scotland. He later earned his doctorate degree in physics at Sheffield Hallam University in England.
