Franciscan Health Central Indiana has appointed Ashley Turkowski as legal counsel, effective April 1. Turkowski will be responsible for legal and regulatory oversight of three hospitals, provide counsel to leadership and staff and ensure federal and state compliance. She has served on the staff at Franciscan Health Western Indiana and Franciscan Alliance. Turkowski previously was a law clerk in the Department of Veterans Affairs and also served as a law clerk for Adventist Health System in Illinois. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Saint Norbert College in Wisconsin and a JD and graduate degree from Saint Louis University.
