Franciscan Alliance has extended its partnership with supply chain service provider HealthTrust for another five years. The Mishawaka-based health provider will continue to partner with HealthTrust for its 14 acute care hospitals in Indiana, Illinois and Michigan.

The agreement extends the relationship between the two organizations through December 2020.

In a release from Franciscan Alliance, Vice President of Supply Chain Matt Mayer said, "HealthTrust’s portfolio pricing and custom sourcing expertise have played a big role in helping us exceed our supply cost goals each year. We value the alignment of stakeholders in this collective, and are confident of continued value to support our mission."

HealthTrust says it partners with 1,350 acute care facilities and members in more than 22,000 other locations.
