In her new role, Therady will oversee all nursing-related operations at Franciscan Alliance’s 12 hospitals.
Therady succeeds Erin Jaynes as CNO. The health system did not provide a reason for Jaynes’ departure.
Therady had previously served as system chief nursing officer for Franciscan Health Central Indiana. In that role, Franciscan Alliance says she led nearly 1,600 nurses at hospital campuses in Indianapolis, Mooresville and Carmel.
Before her tenure at Franciscan Health, Therady was the system chief nursing officer for Cook County Health and Hospitals in Chicago. Prior to her work in Chicago, she also was associate director of patient care services at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Kentucky.
