The tournament features 144 professional women golfers from around the world who compete on the Symetra Tour.
The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians and Four Winds Casinos are again sponsoring the event, which is scheduled for Friday June 8 through Sunday, June 10th. “We are proud to bring back the Four Winds Invitational to South Bend for the seventh straight year,” said John P. Warren, chairman of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. “We’ve watched as this event has grown in popularity for the players, and for the community. Through this growth, we’ve been able to donate significant proceeds for valuable, lifesaving equipment at Beacon Children’s Hospital.”
The tournament has raised more than $430,000 for South Bend’s Beacon Children’s Hospital in the last 6 years. 50 golfers who have competed in South Bend in recent years have graduated from the Symetra Tour to compete in the LPGA Tour. This year’s purse is $150,000. More information can be found here .
