Four Columbus Sites Deemed Fiber-Ready

Four sites in Columbus have been certified AT&T Fiber Ready. AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) says the locations, two existing buildings and two industrial parks, are the first in the city to receive the designation.
AT&T says Tuesday’s announcement marks the first time in Indiana that a combination of existing buildings and available cites have been certified for their high-speed Internet connectivity. The locations include:
- CCG Building: 2020 15th St.
- Reeves Center: 675 Reeves Way
- Woodside Northwest Industrial Park: S.R. 58 and S. International Dr.
- Walesboro Industrial Park: S.R. 58 and 175 W.
"Highlighting the availability of advanced technologies helps us make the most of opportunities to bring jobs and investment to the area," said Jason Hester, president of the Greater Columbus Economic Development Corp. "This is especially true as we support engineering and R&D services and modern advanced manufacturing operations that require the best in high-speed connectivity."
Columbus Mayor Jim Lienhoop says the designation adds to the city’s assets that make Columbus attractive to investors.
The locations in the Bartholomew County city are the latest to receive the Fiber Ready certification. In January, four business parks in Delaware County also received the designation.
