An event focused on regional business resources and entrepreneurship is set for Thursday in Steuben County. Trine University will host the annual Northeast Indiana Economic Development Forum at the Angola campus.
The forum is a partnership among Trine’s Innovation One center and the lead economic development organizations from DeKalb, Lagrange, Noble and Steuben counties.
Fort Wayne-based Sweetwater Sound Inc. founder and Chief Executive Officer Chuck Surack will deliver the keynote address focusing on the "Experience of a Northeast Indiana Entrepreneur."
The event will address questions relating to the Regional Business Initiative and the Regional Development Authority, which was recently launched as part of the Regional Cities Initiative pitch.
