Fort Wayne’s Urban Enterprise Association Hires Director

The Urban Enterprise Association in Fort Wayne has chosen Trois Hart as its new director. Hart replaces Gina Kostoff, who recently accepted a position with Indiana Michigan Power. Hart has a career in banking, but most recently was Associate VP of marketing at the University of Saint Francis.

Hart will report to the UEA Board of Directors and to director of Community Development, Cindy Joyner. “We’re happy to welcome Trois,” said Joyner. “She brings a wealth of experience in the financial services industry and in marketing to the Urban Enterprise Association and will help us continue the work of bringing more jobs and innovation to the heart of our city.”

Fort Wayne established the UEA according to state statute in 1984. The non-profit corporation provides economic and physical revitalization in the city’s urban core. Hart will direct the UEA, along with the newly formed Summit City Entrepreneur District (SEED), which was created by the state legislature last year. The 5-year pilot program offers business incentives to help innovation and commercial development in the urban core, but also in other areas,  such as South Calhoun, Broadway, Bluffton, Goshen, and South Anthony.
