Matt Kelley, FWUL chairman, tells The Journal Gazette that after a year with the organization, Cosette Grant-Overton is no longer employed there.
Kelley told the publication that the board’s "vision is going in a different direction."
He said further details around the termination are not currently available, but that the organization is actively seeking out a replacement. In the meantime, Renetta Williams, the organization’s board secretary, will fill the position until a candidate is found.
Grant-Overton assumed the position of CEO last May.
