Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry will give details on a new self-service bike rental program in the city Friday. He will announce the program’s launch along with members of the 2015 Leadership Fort Wayne class.

The program features a fleet of bicycles available at on-demand stations. Indianapolis has seen success with its own Indiana Pacers Bikeshare Program, launched in 2014. In February, the organization said the program saw increased trips last year.

Henry is scheduled to make the announcement at 11:00 a.m. in front of Parkview Physicians Group ArtsLab on Main Street.
