Fort Wayne-based Matilda Jane Clothing is again partnering with a popular designer and home improvement personality. The company says its second collaboration with Magnolia co-founder Joanna Gaines involves a collection of summer clothes and accessories.
For the first time, the line will include items for young and adult men. The collection is set to debut June 1.
Matilda Jane was founded in 2006. The company designs clothing for babies, girls, tweens and women as well as home items and accessories. It sells its products through in-home shows through a network of sellers throughout the United States.
The announcement comes at a time that the company has experienced growth. MJC says, since Chief Executive Officer Jeff Blade joined the company five years ago, it has grown from 25 to 120 employees. The company also has 1,700 sales reps that host the in-home shows.
