Utah-based sporting goods outfitter Sportsman’s Warehouse will open its first Indiana store in Fort Wayne this summer. The company plans to move into a store on near the Jefferson Pointe Shopping Center.
"I have been hunting deer and turkey in the great state of Indiana for over 30 years and I am excited to open our first store there," said Chief Executive Officer Jon Barker. "In just a few months, amateurs to professionals will be able to walk into their local Sportsman’s Warehouse store and get the gear and apparel they need, quickly and easily, to enjoy all of their favorite outdoor activities."
The company also plans to open new stores this summer in Lansing, Michigan and Murfreesboro, TN. The three new locations would give the company 95 stores in 25 states.
