Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo to Host Job Fair

The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo is planning a hiring event next month. Our partners at WPTA-TV report the zoo, which is set to open in April, will hold the job fair on March 6.

The zoo says job openings include zoo education interpreters, zoo camp counselors, front gate associates, food concessions, gift shop, and operations support. The temporary positions range from 15 to 40 hours per week during the zoo season, which runs from mid-April through mid-October.

Due to the pandemic, the zoo says attendees will need to pre-register for the event and participants will be limited to allow for social distancing.
