Subscribe NowMichigan-based aviation fuel and services company Avfuel Corp. has inked an agreement to operate out of the $4.5 million Fort Wayne Aero Center at Fort Wayne International Airport. The fixed-base operation is set to open at the beginning of the year.
Aero Center General Manager Jeff Van Slyke says the deal will provide customers with "the best care and products the industry has to offer." Avfuel provides services including fueling, maintenance, de-icing and forklift operation.
The center includes a 12,000 square-foot executive terminal, a pilot’s lounge and free Wi-Fi as well as a fitness center and conference rooms. The FBO will begin accepting reservations on December 26 for arrivals on or after January 1.
Avfuel has more than 3,000 locations around the world and more than 600 branded dealers.
