The University of Notre Dame has hired former Senator Joe Donnelly to teach two one-credit courses this semester. The South Bend Tribune reports Donnelly will teach one course in political science and another in the Keough School of Global Affairs.

Former U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly will be taking on the title of ‘professor of the practice’ at the University of Notre Dame, where he himself earned bachelor’s and law degrees.

Donnelly was elected and served as a U.S. senator for Indiana from 2013 to 2018. He ran for re-election, but was defeated in November by Republican Mike Braun.
