The Elkhart Truth reports Louisville-based Trilogy Health Services LLC is looking to purchase the C.G. Conn building to expand operations.
Trilogy owns the Greenleaf Health Campus, which is located just east of the Conn property in Elkhart. The Truth reports the new development would cost between $9 million and $10 million and would create 40 to 60 jobs.
David Henke, executive director at Greenleaf, asked the Elkhart Redevelopment Commission to pay for a $1,600 environmental study to begin addressing environmental concerns on the property, according to the publication. The commission agreed to pay for the study, which will allow remediation efforts to begin.
If the deal goes through, Trilogy’s development would include a dementia unit and a regional training center. The Truth reports a purchase offer has been made to the property’s current owners in California.
