Paul Ferguson will serve as the founding dean of the School of Science, Technology and Health at Biola University in California. He is the former president of Ball State University. Ferguson announced his resignation from Ball State in January less than two years after taking the position. The university said the move was a mutual decision, but specific reasons for Ferguson leaving have not been disclosed. Biola established the School of Science, Technology and Health last November. The school will be housed in the university’s Alton and Lydia Lim Center for Science, Technology and Health, which is currently under construction and scheduled to open in the 2017-2018 academic year.
