The organization says the May 31 event at Mainstage Theatre will be open entrepreneurs who would locate in Madison, Delaware or Henry counties.
The inaugural pitch night was focused on Madison County and the winners were Charity Rees and Lindsay Montgomery and their Aerial Fit2Fly studio concept. The entrepreneurs were awarded $7,600 toward the business and Rees said "after pitch night… [banks, businesses] took us seriously and tried to help us any way they could."
Founder M. Shane Bivens says "every start-up community is unique and at different points of development. This pitch night will act as the context to gather, learn, and celebrate the region’s innovators. This night is about introducing these ideas to the community, who will directly benefit and also participate in their ultimate success."
