Foellinger Foundation Awards $800K in Grants

The board of directors for Fort Wayne-based The Foellinger Foundation has approved more than $800,000 in community interest grants. The funding, which will provide one year of operating support, will be awarded to nearly 30 nonprofits throughout Allen County.
The grants support organizations focusing on the arts, STEM education and animal care, among others.
"The Foundation’s strategy is to support effective leaders that serve Allen County nonprofits," said Cheryl Taylor, president of the Foellinger Foundation. "The grantees on the list reflect the Foundation’s emphasis on funding nonprofits who demonstrate good governance with strong board and staff leaders."
The recipients include:

- Allen County SPCA: $12,500
- ARCH: $10,000
- Artlink: $10,000
- Arts United: $45,000
- Audiences Unlimited: $10,000
- Blue Jacket: $45,000
- Embassy Theatre Foundation: $70,000
- Fort Wayne Ballet: $20,000
- Fort Wayne Children’s Choir: $6,500
- Fort Wayne Cinema Center: $17,500
- Fort Wayne Civic Theatre: $62,500
- Fort Wayne Dance Collective: $25,000
- Fort Wayne Museum of Art: $75,000
- Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra: $75,000
- Fort Wayne Trails: $27,500
- Fort Wayne Youtheatre: $19,000
- Foundation for Art and Music in Education (FAME): $14,500
- HearCare Connection: $25,000
- Little River Wetlands Project: $27,500
- Northeast Indiana Fund: $20,000
