The acquisition of Dayton-based Scottissue closed earlier this month. FlexPAC bills itself as a packaging and facility solutions provider for manufacturing and distribution companies.
Scottissue supplies janitorial and cleaning products. FlexPAC says the western Ohio location will allow its current customers in eastern Indiana more access to its products and services.
Current Scottissue owner Steve Ford will stay on to run the Dayton location. With the addition, FlexPAC now has five locations in Indiana, Illinois and Ohio.
FlexPAC President Blaine Dinwiddie says "we are very happy to join forces with Scottissue. As we strive to become ‘The Best in the Midwest,’ Ohio was our logical next step. The culture and people of Scottissue were a perfect fit for FlexPAC."
Last year, FlexPAC announced the acquisition of Intelligent Cleaning Systems in Westfield.
FlexPAC was founded in 1985, while Scottissue is celebrating its 80th anniversary.
