FlashPoint Adds California Firm

As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowIndianapolis-based FlashPoint has announced the acquisition of Sonoma Leadership Systems in California. FlashPoint says the two consulting firms have a combined 150 clients.
Sonoma Leadership Systems, which was founded in 2005, will keep its office in California, but operate under the FlashPoint name.
FlashPoint partner and cofounder Andrea Davis Cranfill says "we’re pursuing growth because it gives us more capacity to serve our clients and more expertise to offer them." The company is reporting an 85 percent increase in national accounts last year.
FlashPoint partner and cofounder Krista Skidmore says "we know that the No. 1 predictor of business success is the depth and quality of your leaders. Through this acquisition, we will increase our capacity to develop even more leaders."
The deal closed on July 31. Flashpoint was launched in 2002 by Skidmore and Cranfill. Its list of clients includes Simon, Roche Diagnostics, BMW, Vera Bradley, Republic Airways Holdings and Edward Jones. The acquisition of Sonoma Leadership Systems adds clients including Patagonia, Samsung, Travelers and Nestle USA.
