Flagship Enterprise Center Has New Funding Entity
Flagship Enterprise Center in Anderson has launched Flagship Enterprise Capital. The organization says the new entity will help it better serve small businesses through its Bankable Loan Program.
Flagship Enterprise Capital has also received certification from the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund, potentially opening the door for private sector partnerships for Flagship Enterprise Capital. Executive Director Adam Hoeksema says "this new federal certification will allow us to partner in new ways with banks, increase our lending capacity and ultimately better support the underserved small business owners that are working day and night to grow our Indiana economy." The fund invests federal dollars into "mission-driven" financial institutions and aims to support communities that are economically disadvantaged.
