Construction has begun on a redevelopment project in downtown Fishers. The nearly $45 million One North project, which includes a more than 500-space parking garage and mixed-use development with 220 residential units, is expected to be complete by the end of 2018.
One North is part of a larger project announced in June that also includes a 30,000 square-foot office building in the city’s Nickel Plate District. The mixed-use portion, located at North Street and Lantern Road, will include 13 live-work units along with studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments.
At the time of the project’s announcement, Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness said, "This redevelopment project really raises the bar for our entrepreneurial city. A creative development like this one, that meets the needs of small business owners in the Nickel Plate District, brings significant value to our downtown and furthers the ecosystem in which entrepreneurs can thrive."
The project is being developed through a partnership between Indianapolis-based Envoy Inc. and The Hageman Group. The office building portion of the project, which is being developed by Indy-based RQAW Corp., will begin at a later date.
