Heltz will be responsible for the development of the Fishers Health Department which was established in April 2020.
Prior to this position, Heltz worked for the Marion County Public Health Department.
The city says Heltz holds a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University; Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina; and Doctor of Nursing Practice and Masters of the Science of Nursing from Frontier Nursing University.
