First Security Bank has named Jeff Jackson (pictured) executive vice president and chief commercial banking officer. He has more than 30 years of commercial banking, trust management and business development experience. Jackson is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Commercial Lending School, the Cannon Financial Institute Trust School and the University of Southern Indiana with his master’s in business administration. He previously served as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern Indiana and Ivy Tech State College and has held board positions for St. Vincent’s Center for Children and Families and Lampion Center.
Also, Kevin Martin (pictured) has been appointed vice president and commercial banker. He has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry and has held various leadership positions, including vice president of market management, vice president of commercial relationship management and senior vice president of commercial lending. Martin graduated from Southern Illinois University with a bachelor’s of science degree in agriculture economics and from Indiana Wesleyan University with a master’s degree in business administration.
The bank has also hired Logan Hillyard as vice president of treasury management. He will work with existing and new clients in the bank’s Kentucky and Indiana markets to provide cash flow management tools, accounts receivable and payable solutions, and other interest-bearing deposit account options for business customers. Hillyard has previously served as assistant vice president of cash management, vice president of treasury management and financial advisor. He is a graduate of Murray State University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Political Science, a Master’s of Public Administration Degree in Public Administration and a Master’s of Science Degree in Management of Technology.
Matt Yeary has been appointed vice president – credit officer. He most recently worked as a commercial portfolio manager with Old National Bank. Yeary has more than 18 years of experience in credit underwriting and commercial banking including positions as loan review officer, commercial banking credit manager and commercial portfolio manager.
Wanda Mayer has been promoted to vice president – director of loan and credit operations. She will supervise the loan operations, loan processing, and consumer loan underwriting departments. Mayer previously served as a senior vice president of operations at Field and Main Bank.
Also, Kim Lewis has been promoted to consumer loan underwriter. She will examine, evaluate and authorize credit decisions of borrowers’ applications for all consumer loan products. She joined the bank in March of 2014 and most recently worked as a commercial loan administrator.
