The career fair will be held January 25 at the university’s Alumni Center and is being hosted by the H.H. Gregg Center for Professional Selling and Ball State’s Career Center.
About 300 students will attend the career fair in search of sales jobs and internships. Registered recruiters will also receive resumes from Ball State students prior to the career fair for early consideration.
Scott Inks, director of the H.H. Gregg center, says the interest in the career fair shows the sales field is booming. “With all the talk these days about recent college graduates not finding jobs, we can point out that our students are getting multiple offers. We have tremendous interest. Our event is sold out."
The career fair will open at 3:00 p.m. for sales majors and minors, as well as sales and marketing alumni to meet and speak with the companies. The doors will then open from 4:00-7:00 p.m. to all students and alumni interested in sales opportunities.
