Fire Equipment Company Continues Growth

Subscribe NowIndianapolis-based CertaSite, a commercial fire protection company, continues to grow its portfolio. The company has acquired Craynon Fire Protection located in Dayton, Ohio. CertaSite says the acquisition is its fifth in Ohio.
In addition to this latest purchase, CertaSite already has acquired 13 fire protection and life safety companies in seven Midwest states and is looking for more potential acquisitions.
Craynon specializes in fire sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, kitchen hoods, and suppression systems. Craynon co-owners Ron Caplinger and Tom Doty will remain with the company in new roles.
Just last week, the company purchased Michigan-based Premier Electronics, a fire alarm and critical protection systems business. Financial terms were not disclosed.
