Financial Center First Credit Union has promoted Sven Leander to chief operations officer. He has been with the company since 2010 as consumer lending production manager. He was later promoted to vice president of lending. Leander brings more than 25 years of financial service experience to his new executive position.

He holds his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Indiana University. Leander currently serves on the Indiana Credit Union League’s Emerging Leaders Advisory Group. He is a previous member of the ICUL’s Ignite Program and was the 2013 recipient of the ICUL’s Emerging Leadership Award.
