Final Regions to Present READI Plans

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. will Friday hear the final proposals for the $500 million Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative. The final five of the 17 self-identified regions will present their regional development plans for READI funding at Dallara IndyCar Factory in Indianapolis.

Each region is seeking up to $50 million to implement their regional development plans.

The meeting on Friday will include presentations from the following regions:

  • East Central Indiana
  • Northeast Indiana Regional Development Authority
  • 180 Alliance
  • South Central Indiana Talent Region
  • Southern Indiana Regional Development Authority

Several regions presented their plans for funding consideration earlier this week.

The IEDC says each presentation will be recorded and posted to the READI website.
