Organizers of the River Bend Film Festival in Goshen say this year’s event will include more than 80 short and feature films. The event moved from South Bend to Goshen and attracted record attendance last year.
The festival runs from April 6-8 in downtown Goshen. It includes four workshops led by industry professionals and two filmmaker "coffee talks." The featured guests include Hollywood screenwriter Wes Jones ("Billions") and professional makeup artist and Goshen College graduate Sarah Elizabeth, who was a contestant on the SyFy Channel show "Face Off."
This year’s event will include 74 short films and eight feature films.
River Bend Film Festival was founded in 2002 in South Bend. It was held at Indiana University South Bend for seven years, before moving to the Century Center in downtown South Bend in 2009. The event debuted in Goshen in 2016.
