Indianapolis-based FileWave, the multi-platform endpoint management solution for apps, devices, and configurations for Mac, Windows and mobile, has appointed Rolf Anweiler chief executive officer. He has more than 19 years of marketing, sales and startup experience in the B2B software industry. Nurdan Eris, founder and former CEO, will stay on as chairwoman of the board.

Anweiler previously served as senior vice president of marketing and a member of the global senior leadership team for Mapp Digital. Having started his career on the height of the dot-com era, he helped to build the three-person startup, eCircle, into one of the leading global multichannel marketing providers with 350 employees serving flagship brands like Nintendo, Adidas, BP and Deutsche Telekom, as well as nonprofit and public organizations like UNICEF and Transport for London. He also held senior management positions at IT and data analytics heavyweight, Teradata.
