A Fort Wayne-based marketing agency is celebrating its 45th anniversary with a new brand. Ferguson, previously known as Ferguson Advertising, says the evolution of its brand identity reflects its “growth into a full-service, integrated marketing agency with a significant focus on digital services.”
In addition to the new name, Ferguson has launched a new, comprehensive website. The agency was founded in 1975 by Rich Ferguson and was bought by his son John in 2002.
“While this certainly wasn’t the year we expected or hoped for when we look back at how it started, we’ve always prided ourselves on our adaptability and flexibility as a team,” said John Ferguson, the agency’s chief executive officer. “Given how unique this year has been, we can think of no more fitting recognition of our 45th anniversary than to come out of it a stronger and still growing agency. We’re proud of the efforts of our entire team in this momentous and memorable year – and we’re excited about writing the next chapters of this agency’s success story.”
Ferguson employs more than 40 in Fort Wayne, including eight new employees added in 2020. The agency says it has the largest in-house digital team of any full-service agency in Indiana with more than 20 employees focusing on digital marketing and development.
