An auto emissions control manufacturer is expanding in Bartholomew County. Faurecia Emissions Control Technologies, which has its North American headquarters in Columbus, has announced plans to build a new production facility and add 131 jobs. Plans call for Faurecia to invest about $60 million on a manufacturing facility that will produce a new line of emission control systems for the auto industry. The facility will be located next to the company's existing R & D center. Faurecia is expected to break ground on the project later this year.

Faurecia already employs more than 1,600 workers in Bartholomew County and plans to begin hiring for a range of engineering and production positions in 2017.
