Farmers Bank to Open Rossville Branch

The bank says it will invest $300,000 to renovate and equip the building, located next to Flour Mill Bakery in the Clinton County town, and add a small number of jobs.
The bank says the new branch will offer a complete financial services as well as a drive-up ATM. Building renovations are underway and the bank says, pending regulatory approval, the branch is expected to open in the first quarter of 2018.
"Rossville deserves a local community bank that will be an active member and engage in supporting the community," Karen Gregerson, chief executive officer of The Farmers Bank, said in a news release. "The Farmers Bank has been serving residents of Clinton County since 1876. We have a strong heritage and we are honored and humbled to continue this legacy by serving the residents of Rossville, Indiana. We are pleased to expand The Farmers Bank brand of superior service to Rossville."
Gregerson tells Inside INdiana Business the bank has a 25-year lease for the building in Rossville and expects to spend about $620,000 during the life of the lease. The Farmers Bank also has branches in Frankfort, Fishers, Kirklin, Lebanon, Michigantown, Mulberry, Noblesville and Sheridan.
