Karen Gregerson has been honored with the 2020 Indiana Bankers Association Woman of the Year award. She serves as president and chief executive officer of Frankfort-based The Farmers Bank.

Gregerson joined the bank in 2016 and has more than 30 years of prior experience. including executive roles at STAR Bank in Fort Wayne. She also serves in leadership as a board member of the Indiana Statewide Certified Development Corp. and as a director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis.  

Gregerson earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and a master’s degree from Indiana Tech.
