Hoping to usher in a new vision along with a recent rebrand, the Falls of the Ohio Foundation has announced a new executive director.
The foundation this week unveiled Aimee Conrad-Hill as the preservation organization’s new leader. The foundation’s board of directors said the group conducting a deliberate hiring process over the course of several months before arriving at its decision.
Conrad-Hill lives in southern Indiana, the foundation said, and her LinkedIn profile shows she was most recently the director of America’s Construction Talent Network. The foundation touted her “long career in nonprofit fundraising, growth, and consulting” in a news release.
The Falls of the Ohio Foundation helps raise money for and preserve the Falls of the Ohio State Park in Clarksville just across the river from Louisville. The nonprofit also puts on educational programming and hosts events that promote the falls.
In a statement, Conrad-Hill said she’s thrilled about the chance to help the southern Indiana region retain the natural wonder of the falls.
“I am excited to take on the role of executive director at this pivotal moment for the Falls of the Ohio Foundation,” said Conrad-Hill. “The potential for growth and expansion is tremendous. I look forward to collaborating with our staff, board, and community to enhance the foundation’s programs, connect with new audiences, and ensure that the Falls of Ohio remains a cherished asset in our community for generations to come.”
Conrad-Hill will begin her new role on March 31.
