Fail Fest Earns International Honor

The Gold Excellence Award from the International Economic Development Council recognizes the event that focused on the role of failure in success.
The event won the Gold Excellence in Economic Development Award for communities with populations of 25,000-200,000. The awards recognize economic development programs and partnerships, marketing efforts and influential leaders. The ceremony took place this week in Anchorage, Alaska.
Fail Fest took place November 19, 2014 at Launch Fishers. More than 350 beginning and veteran entrepreneurs took part in panel discussions and presentations. The event also featured business leaders discussing personal failures that helped them learn and achieve greater success.
Launch Fishers was created in 2012 and has grown to more than 500 members.
