Faegre Baker Daniels LLP, which has offices including Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and South Bend, has named Tom Froehle chair and managing partner. He will succeed Andrew Humphrey, who will hit his term limit March 1. Froehle currently serves as vice chair and chief operating partner, a role he has held since Faegre & Benson merged with Baker & Daniels in 2012 to form the firm.
Froehle says "I look forward to the opportunity to lead a great firm. Andrew has created a strong foundation and strategic direction for FaegreBD during his tenure as managing partner with focused emphasis on providing world-class legal counsel, combined with extraordinary client service. We are fortunate to have outstanding professionals and a collaborative culture that position us well to thrive in a changing legal landscape. I am excited about our future."
Humphrey will continue on as a partner and says "Tom’s clear vision has been integral to creating the firm that Faegre Baker Daniels is today. He is extraordinarily well-qualified for this role and will provide excellent leadership to the firm going forward."
The firm’s management board unanimously appointed Froehle. The global firm has more than 750 employees and offices in Indiana, Washington D.C., California, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, the U.K. and China.
