Faegre Baker Daniels has added Abe Shanehsaz and Matthew Kinsman to its team. Shanehsaz was named an associate on the firm’s intellectual property group. He will practice from the downtown Indianapolis office. Shanehsaz advises on trademark and copyright matters, helping companies obtain protections, maintain and expand existing protections, and enforce rights against unauthorized users in the U.S. and abroad. He also counsels clients on various technology-based agreements. Previously, Shanehsaz practiced with Krieg DeVault. He received his law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2014 and a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 2011. Kinsman was named an associate to the business litigation team. He previously served as judicial law clerk for United States District Court Judge Theresa Springmann in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. Kinsman received his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine.
