Fabletics Store Coming to Indy

Los Angeles-based Fabletics has announced plans to open a retail location in Indianapolis in the second quarter. Indy is one of 12 new locations the activewear brand plans to open this year in addition to its 18 current locations throughout the country.
The company, co-founded by actress Kate Hudson, will open its first store of 2017 in Frisco, Texas, followed by locations in Indy, Illinois, Colorado, Oregon, Arizona, California and New Jersey. Once the new stores have opened, Fabletics will have added 30 retail locations in under two years.
"Our inspiration for the store was clear and simple – we aimed to bring a hint of the active lifestyle elements that shape our customers lives inside while keeping the main focus on our amazing product offering and delivering a seamless customer experience. Less is more," said Dustin Netral, senior vice president of operations for Fabletics. "Ultimately, the store was designed to enhance our overall brand experience, inviting customers in to touch, feel and see the high quality fabrications, latest innovations and newest designs, while making it as easy as possible for them to shop the way they like."
The company has not yet stated a specific location for the store within Indianapolis. Fabletics says it has been working closely with mall developers including Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group Inc. (NYSE: SPG) to open the new stores.
Fabletics features a membership-based program through which members can utilize in-store benefits, though the company says consumers do not have to be members to shop in the stores. Currently, the stores closest to Indianapolis are located in Cincinnati, Ohio and Oak Brook, Illinois.
