F.C. Tucker merges Lafayette franchise with Shook Realty Group

Indianapolis-based F.C. Tucker Group said Thursday it has merged its F.C. Tucker/Lafayette franchise with Shook Realty Group.
The new, Lafayette-based real estate brokerage, now known as F.C. Tucker/Shook, brings more than 70 real estate agents under its umbrella.
Financial terms of the merger were not disclosed. F.C. Tucker/Shook is headquartered at 300 N. 5th Street in Lafayette and will provide comprehensive residential real estate services to the greater Lafayette area.
“We are excited for the Shook family and Shook Realty Group to join the F.C. Tucker family and bring our collective experience, best-in-class service and deep knowledge of Tippecanoe County and the surrounding areas to home buyers and sellers,” F.C. Tucker CEO Jim Litten said in a news release.
Shook Realty Group was established in 1915 as The Shook Agency by the Shook family, which will retain separate ownership of Shook Property Management and Shook Commercial Real Estate and the Indianapolis-based Shook Realty Group Commercial.

Tucker Co.,” said Charlie Shook, former co-owner of Shook Realty Group. “The combined impact of two companies with this type of longevity and community engagement is remarkable and something to be celebrated.”
