Ice Miller LLP has added Attorney Everlyne Stephens to its litigation group. She concentrates her practice on representing clients in complex litigation, including transactional matters, regulatory compliance and business torts. Stephens graduated from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, cum laude, in 2018. During law school, she completed a judicial externship for Judge Robert Gettleman in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois and was the lead article editor for The John Marshall Law Review.

Stephens also served as president of the Black Law Students Association, as a member of the John Marshall Moot Court Honors Board and as a member of the Trial Advocacy and Alternative Dispute Resolution Council. In addition, she was a Baum Fellow for the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless and a member of the Business Enterprise Law Clinic at The John Marshall Law School. She held various research, teaching assistant and mentor positions throughout law school.

In 2017, Stephens worked as a summer associate at Ice Miller where she researched material issues in pending litigation matters and regulatory compliance and drafted demand letters, complaints and summaries of new case law.
