Fort Wayne International Airport will host an event Thursday focusing on how changes in the airline industry will affect area travelers. The presentation will discuss how trends in service development, scheduling and pricing can impact the airport. The event will feature Jeffrey Hartz of Mead & Hunt Air Service Consulting.

The presentation is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. Thursday at Fort Wayne International Airport.

The airport announced last month Nevada-based Allegiant Travel Co. (Nasdaq: ALGT) would restart seasonal direct service between Fort Wayne to the Phoenix area in October. Earlier this year, Allegiant resumed non-stop seasonal service between Fort Wayne and Myrtle Beach.
