Event Tech Company Growing in Indy

Indianapolis-based Socio Labs Inc. says it plans to add more than 100 jobs over the next four years. The event software company is looking to invest $1.2 million into expanding its headquarters. Socio currently employs 15 in Indianapolis and has an office is Turkey.

The new positions include sales development representatives, account executives, customer service representatives, a digital marketing manager, a QA engineer, a product manager and a chief of staff. The company says it is exploring additional office space to handle potential growth in the future.

Chief Executive Officer Yarkin Sakucoglu says "with digitization and globalization changing the landscape of economic growth, we believe that Indiana, with its available talent pool, affordable cost of living and direct access to venture capital, is well on its way to becoming a hub for innovation and business prosperity. We are very excited to be part of the growing startup ecosystem and provide hundreds of jobs to fellow Hoosiers here in Indianapolis."

Socio says revenue has grown on average 450 percent year-over-year in the last two years. The company has been offered up to $2.2 million in conditional tax incentives from the Indiana Economic Development Corp.
